Inspection Manager app for iPhone and iPad

Land Manager Inspection Manager allows inspectors to have access to all their data in the field. It is used to update, track and report property inspection results by municipal building inspectors. It is a component of the more comprehensive Land Manager* software used by many Ontario Building and Planning Departments.

Land Manager Inspection Manager allows inspectors to input, update and review inspection results and any property inspection history from their mobile device. It also includes the following additional key functionality:

• Provides a customized view of inspections – It prioritizes assigned inspections and can also show the status of any inspection in the database along with supporting documents.
• Access all files on your mobile device – Land Manager Inspection Manager gives users access to all hyperlinked files for property and allows the inspector to add files while they are in the field.
• Take pictures and attach them to your inspection report – Take pictures in the field, add accompanying notes and automatically file the picture with the inspection. Uploading the pictures from the camera, naming the picture files and arranging them into folders is automated.
• Email PDF Reports – Create a PDF version of any report and email it to stakeholders directly from the app
• Available on all major platforms – the app was developed using well-tested tools that abstract the individualities of each platform enabling it to be device-independent yet equally powerful.
• Creation of new Inspections – this new app now has the ability to create inspections from within the app and schedule them alongside existing inspections created in Land Manager.
• Search for Inspectable items – now that the app facilitates the creation of inspections, we have updated the search functionality to be able to search for all documents that are related to inspections. This will allow the user to create an inspection on a number of different Land Manager documents.
• Support for Bylaw Enforcement Inspections along side Building Permit Inspections.
